Last night David & Victoria Beckham dined out at Nobu in LA with pop singer Madonna, sparking gossip about the Beckhams “choosing sides” in the developing war between Madonna & their fellow Brit Guy Ritchie.

Of course, it could just be the Beckhams were dining with a friend - no further implications necessary. But in the gathering storm of the Madonna/Ritchie divorce, nobody will be considered innocent…right or wrong. (source)

New information about the son of the now-infamous Beckham housekeepers arrested last week for theft from the Beckham’s England estate has been divulged by his ex-partner. 25 year old Gareth Emmett, son of suspected housekeepers June & Eric Emmett, allegedly used to brag about having David’s clothes - to the point where he photographed himself wearing them.

Helene Gammelgaard said Gareth showed her a photograph of himself and boasted “That’s me in David’s jacket.” She went on to say “I was shocked. His mother also said she had some candles from Victoria that were given to her by a member of staff. She also had an old tracksuit from the Beckhams that she said they didn’t want any more.”

June Emmett addressed the issue of owning miscellaneous items of Victoria’s: “When you’ve worked for someone for so long, you’re going to get a few treats. Victoria would say, ‘Here’s a lipstick I don’t want’, or, ‘Here’s a pair of shoes’. I would never be disloyal to her - we are very close.”

But for people so close, the Beckhams have been quite distant in response to the controversy. They have not yet contacted the Emmetts about the accusations. (source)

It’s the rumor that won’t stop growing - David and Victoria Beckham’s UK residence Beckingham Palace was allegedly thieved by houseworkers while Becks & Posh were away.

The story goes that Victoria (or Victoria’s parents, depending on which version you read) discovered the theft when she found items on eBay that were identical to those in her house; a subsequent search of the house proved the items were missing. Two employees were then, according to reports, arrested on Monday.

The items included such precious mementos as boots David wore for the LA Galaxy that were emrboidered with his sons’ names, and Victoria’s designer clothes.

Despite the protests of suspects Eric and June Emmett, the story continues to grow. Eric Emmett insisted to BBC News that the whole story’s made up. “What is in the papers is fabricated nonsense,” Emmett said. “Totally fabricated, 99% of it is totally untrue.” Now a third suspect, their son Gareth, has also been arrested.

News sources are reporting all three suspects have been released on bail until November. But the fact that reported details are changing from source to source and there’s no clear statement from the Beckhams leads us to wonder if the Emmetts aren’t right - is it all “fabricated nonsense”?
