Thinks keep getting more and more interesting on the set of Grey’s Anatomy. Now actress Chyler Leigh is pregnant, prompting fans to wonder if her character Lexie will soon be a mama, too?

Not yet, at least. An ABC source told TV Guide there are no plans to inject a baby into Lexie’s storyline (get it? inject? medical drama?).

It’s baby #3 for Chyler and her husband Nathan West.

Dr. Erica Hahn has left the building; tonight’s Grey’s Anatomy is the final episode for the envelope-pushing character.

Brooke’s character had recently become involved in a lesbian affair with character Dr. Callie Torres. And apparently this was too much for backward-thinking ABC to bear.

The network released a statement that they “had issues with both the explicit direction Callica (Callie and Erica) was taking and, more importantly, with the Hahn character in general.” (source)

For fans of literature, television, and film, it’s a shocking moment: prolific author Michael Crichton has died unexpectedly. He was apparently fighting a very private battle with cancer. He was just 66.

Michael has had a profound impact on the literary and entertainment world. Besides his incredible number of books (which have sold more than 150 million copies worldwide), he created the television show ER and was the genesis of the Jurassic Park films. (source)

Patrick Swayze was involved in a close encounter with potentially hazardous materials at the Berwyn police station where he was filming for his A&E drama The Beast.

A Comcast worker walked into the police station carrying a box of white powder which he wanted to report to the police. When the contents tested negative for cocaine, concerns arose about the possbility of anthrax.

The contents turned out to be corn starch, and five people who were quarantined after the discovery have been released. As Patrick didn’t go near the powder, he was safe from any danger. (source)

When is Lindsay Lohan going to realize she’s flushing her career down the toilet?

Apparently not anytime soon. Her antics behind-the-scenes are costing her work, and her lifestyle doesn’t come cheap.

Her behavior on the set of Ugly Betty forced studio execs to reduce her appearances from six episodes to four. Now her gig hosting the World Music Awards has been dropped because the organizers feel she is too unreliable to do the job. And they have history to back up their concerns; when she hosted the World Music Awards in 2006 she was all but a disaster, embarrassing herself with moments like prematurely announcing Beyonce to the stage while the singer was still in wardrobe and make-up.

She also lose a movie deal for Manson Girls - and following that, another deal for a Jack Black flick Ye Old Times. (source)
